Certifications
DONA International is one of the oldest and most widely recognized doula certification organizations in the world. Founded in 1992, it established many of the early standards for professional, non-medical birth support. With thousands of certified doulas across dozens of countries, DONA is known for its structured training, ethical guidelines, and evidence-based approach, making it a respected credential within the doula profession.

Emry Davidson is our compassionate founder, CEO, and Doula dedicated to supporting families through pregnancy, birth, and postpartum care. As a Black doula rooted in the San Diego community, Emry is deeply committed to serving BIPOC and LGBTQIA+ families who deserve culturally affirming, judgment-free care. With a commitment to inclusivity and cultural sensitivity, Doula Emry ensures that every family receives respectful, evidence-informed support tailored to their unique needs and preferences. Emry's approach is rooted in collaboration with licensed healthcare providers and a deep respect for all birth choices. By focusing on emotional well-being, informed decision-making, and community resources, Emry supports families in feeling empowered and confident throughout their journey.
